Nettuno Caves
In the heart of the promontory of Capo Caccia there is Nettuno Cave, the most famous cave in Sardinia, that is visited by 150.000 people each year.
The cave can be reaches by walking the “escala del Cabirol” (The Roe Staircase), a staircase composed of 660 rungs, dug on the promontory, or via sea with Linea Grotte service, departing from the touristic port.
The cave offers 1km of spectacular landscapes and limestone structures such as stalactites and stalagmites, some of them tall enough to become columns.
Nearby the cave there is also the Lamarmora lake, a 120 m salt lake at sea level.
